From the restaurants windows, there is an unbroken view of Kumamoto Castle, so you get a sense of the citys long history while savoring the finest meats. The owner, Yoshio Sudo began his career as a fruit and vegetable wholesaler at Tsukiji Market, where he worked for 2 years before going on to gain 7 years experience working at the famous "Yakiniku Kunimoto" in Hamamatsu-cho, Tokyo. When it came time for Sudo to open his own restaurant he chose Kumamoto as the location, thanks to the abundance of meat and other fine ingredients available in the region.
