Northern Taiwan
Northern Taiwan, as its name suggests, is the northmost region of Taiwan[1]. It is the political and financial centre of Taiwan. It is also the countrys main hub of technological development. Though it is not as scenic as the other regions of Taiwan, it is the most frequently visited region by travellers. The countrys capital, Taipei[2], is also located here.
Regions[edit] Other destinations[edit]Yehliu Geopark[[1]] - Wander through the distinct landscape of Yehliu Geopark. Dont forget to explore the trails behind the major sandstone sculptures up to the tip of the half island. Its a scenic walk with beautiful views across the sea, towards Keelung Island and the coastline. Furthermore, you get away from the mainly Chinese tourist groups. ;-)
