Getting to London Paddington station
Our train to Bath departed from London Paddington station[1], a central railway terminus and an underground station complex located in the Paddington area of the west end of central London. We took the tube to reach the station – it’s on the Hammersmith and City, Bakerloo, District and Circle lines, so it’s super easy to get there.
Boarding the train
Using the Trainline app, we already knew which platform our train was leaving from before we even arrived at the station, so we took our time and got there just 10 minutes before departure. We boarded a GWR train – we simply scanned our digital tickets[2] at the ticket gates and headed to our two forward-facing seats we had already reserved online.
