A: "Mutual" is used to describe some sort of shared understanding, shared feeling, shared interest, or shared goal between two or more people/groups.E.g. "I think we have a mutual understanding on this issue"
"Reciprocal" is more like if person A offers or does something beneficial for person B, then person B "reciprocates" by offering or doing something of equal beneficial value for A. So there is a back-and-forth relationship between the people/groups involved.
E.g. "We have a reciprocal arrangement with the our neighbors. If our internet connection goes down, we can use theirs. If their internet connection goes down, they can use ours."
