Hello Vanessa, Asia is a very different beast than Europe or North America, for sure. There will definitely be a culture adjustment, but I consider that to be a very positive thing for your children to be exposed to different ideas and lifestyles. Perhaps you think differently. All the same, Taipei city is far more "Western" than most of the rest of Taiwan. WEATHER: This climate in Taipei is definitely cooler and more humid than the rest of Taiwan, but know that it is an island right on the Tropic of Cancer, so it will be warm and humid most of the year no matter where you go. It really never gets below like 10 degrees Celsius, though that is "super cold" by local standards. In the summers, it may get up to 40, but that would be very high for Taipei. In the south, I have seen it get up to 44. So those are the most extreme. (Compare that to my home in the US that ranges from(…) 46 throughout the year!) M...
