While the number of Mainland arrivals decreased by 14.2% in 2019, the Mainland continued to be our largest visitor source market, accounting for 78% of our total arrivals. On the other hand, visitor arrivals from non-Mainland markets also declined by 14.0% in 2019. Among non-Mainland markets, arrivals from short-haul markets reduced by 14.6%, while those from long-haul markets dropped by 12.7%.Hong Kongs top ten visitor source markets in 2019 in the order of arrival number were the Mainland, Taiwan, Macao, the United States, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Australia and Thailand. Altogether they accounted for over 93% of the total visitor arrivals.
