As anyone with a grasp of recent history would be able to tell you, this year isn’t the first time Harvard University[1] has been ranked the best place to study history (they also came top last year).
This year’s fine repeat performance from Harvard is replicated further down the table with only two universities able to break into the top 20. The biggest climber in the top 50, from joint 42nd to 28th is Peking University[2].
